Kawasaki was an internal project that Monkeystack undertook to push the rendering and interactive capabilities of VR headsets.
A highly detailed environment fully realised in VR, it places the viewer into of the apartment of a young engineer who is overly infatuated with their Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle. The bike’s different components are interactive, and can be individually selected to view their technical specifications.
As technical art lead on Kawasaki, I established the asset pipeline, developed the materials/shaders, and lit the environment. I also created some unique visual effects, some of which can be seen here.
